The elite of canoe racing visits Duisburg. From May 25th till 27th the top athletes will meet at the 2012 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup on the well-established Wedau regatta course in Sportpark Duisburg. The international federations, the media and last but not least the fans of canoe sprint can find all information about the second event in the world cup series at our homepage. This includes the up-to-date bulletins, the program and the results. Directions and the current news are also part of this service. Host of the 2012 ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup Duisburg is Deutscher Kanu-Verband. As usual, Kanu-Regatta-Verein Duisburg takes on the local organization. Entrance is free.

Damen-Zweier sorgen für DKV-Doppelsieg
Zum Abschluss der ersten internationalen Olympiaqualifikation der DKV-Rennkanuten beim Weltcup in Posen boten die Kajak-Damen im Zweier über 500m eine souveräne Vorstellung und holten Gold durch Weber/Dietze und Silber durch Leonhardt/Wagner-Augustin. Sie stockten damit die Medaillenbilanz des deutschen Teams auf insgesamt viermal Gold, viermal Silber und einmal Bronze auf.
57 Nationen haben bereits für den Olympia-Test der Kanu-Weltelite gemeldet
DUISBURG (11.04.2012). Der ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup 2012 in Duisburg wird zum Treffen der Nationen. In der olympischen Saison haben bereits 57 nationale Verbände für die wichtige Standortüberprüfung vom 25. bis 27. Mai auf der Wedau-Bahn im Sportparkt gemeldet. Der Deutsche Kanu-Verband nutzt den Heimweltcup, um seine Flotte den Fans vorzustellen und in der Konkurrenz mit der Weltelite zu testen.
